PVSS - PC Monitoring

Functionality:

The PC Monitoring tools allow the visualization of the behavior of PCs, in terms of CPU usage, memory usage, etc.

New PCs are dynamically added to the panel (and to the system) when the "pcmon" server is started. For each PC the list of processes running, their PIDs, CPU usages and memory consumptions are available. 

Implementation:

Two "pcmon" servers are available, one for Linux and one for Windows (most of the code is the same). They gather the information in their machine and publish it as DIM Services. The PVSS-DIM api manager stores the information in datapoints. New datapoints are dynamically created when "pcmon" services from a new PC become available.
