TFC PVSS Project

Overview

This project aims to configure and monitor the different components of the TFC system via PVSS to run a partition.

The main component in this component is the read out supervisor. Its different activities can be saved as recipes in the fw tables which are part of the Configuration Database and can also be loaded.

All the connectivities are read from the configuration database.

In this project, there are two means to communicate between PVSS and the Configuration database (cf Fig 1)

Fig 1: Relationship between PVSS and the Configuration database.

The tables beginning with fw_, are part of the Framework, whereas the other are the own LHCb tables.

The TFC project  is saved in CVS: you can see its structure in the CVS web repository.
