The Event Filter Farm will run approximately 2000 identical HLT trigger algorithms in parallel. It will consist of a number of sub-farms (50) with a number of nodes (20-40). Each node will have a number of cores (2-4) and each core will run one algorithm (a task). Monitoring on the EFF will be of HLT-rejected events; monitoring on the MF will be of HLT-accepted events (to determine the performance of the trigger) and/or fully reconstructed events, as well as of other analysis tasks.
