Installation without the FW Installation Tool:

• On your WinCC-OA project:
• In the "config" file (config directory) 
  • Insert the path to "FwDIM" (as proj_path) between the pvss_path and your own proj_path.

  • Add the following lines:

    [ctrl]
    LoadCtrlLibs = "fwDIM"
    
    [ui]
    LoadCtrlLibs = "fwDIM"
    
    

•  Install the DIM basics:
  • PVSS00ctrl [-num N] fwDimInstall     This ctrl script will do the following operations:
    • Import the FwDIM datapoints: PVSS00ascii -yes -in ../FwDIM/dplist/FwDimDps.dpl
    • Copy the correct version of PVSS00dim to your project's bin directory.
• For the Demo to work import also the Demo data points:
  • PVSS00ctrl [-num N] fwDimInstallDemo     This ctrl script will do the following:
    • Import the demo datapoints: PVSS00ascii -yes -in ../FwDIM/dplist/FwDimDemoDps.dpl
• Go back to "Preparation" and "Usage" with <Installation Directory> = FwDIM
